Animal
Animals are creatures the player can raise on their farm inside farm buildings. The products produced by animals can be sold, processed in various machines, used for cooking, or donated to the Museum.
The player starts the game with an empty Small Coop on their farm, and other buildings to house animals can be purchased at Aamy's Project Workbench. Animals to raise in these buildings can be purchased at Animal Center or hatched in an Incubator. Rare animal breeds are obtained from other endgame sources.
Obtaining animals
The most common way to obtain animals is Daisy's Animal Center that offers six random animals for sale (three coop and three barn animals). The animals include two common types of chicken (white and yellow), two types of geese (teal and purple, regular Cows, Spudges, and rainbow Ponyas. The animals are restocked every five days (on Day 5, 10, 15, etc of every season) and have random age, happiness, and price. The animals have their favorite food displayed on the purchase screen, allowing the player to choose an animal with cheaper or more easily available preferences.
Common Chickens and Geese can also be hatched on the farm in an Incubator from eggs purchased at Freya's. Hatching one egg takes nine days. While this methods allows the player to save money, it also gives them less control over the animal's food preferences since the favorite food of a hatched chicken or goose is determined randomly.
Rarer animal breeds are obtained from late game sources: Zenticules Trading, Sacred Tree area, and DungeonVR.
- Rare chickens and geese are not functionally different from their common counterparts and will produce the same items.
- Rare Neon Cows will produce Electric Milk.
- Albino Ponyas are not different from regular rainbow Ponyas aside from their color.
- Unlike regular Ponyas, Evil Ponyas will always produce Ultra Rare Candy; however, they will only produce every five days, unlike regular Ponyas that give candy every day, and will drop the same items as rainbow Ponyas when fed.
Additionally, every animal in the game can be randomly obtained by handing in rare white pigeons to Pip, including all rare or hard to find animals. The reward letter can be left in the mailbox overnight and rerolled by reloading the next day to get the animal the player wants. The chances for each individual animal are the following:
Animal care
All animals are placed into the inventory in their suspended form and can be assigned to a nest inside a coop or a barn and picked back up into the inventory by long pressing cancel button next to their nest. Once an animal is assigned a nest, it appears next to the nest and starts moving inside the building. The player can view all animals in the building by interacting with the poster inside. The poster shows the names and types of animals, their age in game days, mood, and favorite food.
If the door of the building the animals are in is open, they will go outside in the morning and return back inside in the evening. The animals that are let outside will get a happiness bonus; Chickens, Geese, Spudges, and Ponyas will also drop their products on the ground.
Farm animals do not need to be fed and will never get sick or die.
Mood
An animal's mood is based on its happiness (on a scale from 0 to 100) and can be increased in a variety of ways. Mood is only relevant to the animals that lay their produce of the ground (Chickens, Geese, Spudges, and Ponyas): these animals would not produce their daily item until their happiness reaches 60 and their mood is green; however, they will still drop produce when fed their favorite food. Alpacas and Cows will produce regardless of how happy they are.
| Mood | Happiness range |
|---|---|
Happiness can be increased by petting an animal once per day (+10 points) or feeding their favorite food (+25 points). Animal happiness does not decay over time.
Age
Every animal has their age in days listed on the information poster inside the building they are in. An animal is considered a baby for the first 14 days of its life and will only produce starting from day 15 of its life; for most animals except Ponyas, their appearance also changes to adult.
Animals will never die of old age.
An animal will not age if it is kept in the inventory or storage in its suspended form.
Feeding and products
When it comes to producing, animals can be divided in two groups: those that drop their products on the ground automatically and those that require player interaction to produce:
- Chickens, Geese, Spudges, and Ponyas will leave their eggs, truffles, or candy on the ground outside for the player to harvest. If the product is not picked up withing three days after it gets laid, it disappears for good.
- Cows and Electric Cows need to be milked by the player by interacting with them with an Empty Bottle in their inventory. Empty bottles can be crafted in the menu using Glass and Super Glue or smelted from Iron Ore in a Glass Maker with Bottle Attachment.
- Alpacas need to be sheared manually. Shearing requires no special tools and is done by interacting with the Alpaca when its coat is fully grown.
Most animals will produce every day: Chickens, Geese, Spudges, and Ponyas when they have 60 or more happiness and Cows regardless of their mood. Alpacas' coat will grow every three days, and Evil Ponya, a rare breed of Ponya, will only produce every five days but will always drop the rarest and most expensive candy.
To get an extra product per day, the player can feed an animal their favorite food; feeding animals is completely optional. Every animal has a favorite food randomly assigned to them; possible foods include crops, fruit, berries, and lotus flowers and other plant parts. An animal's favorite food can be changed by feeding them Animal Food Card purchasable at Daisy's for Yellow Prize Keys. An animal can only be fed once per day and will drop a product when fed:
- Chickens and Geese drop one regular or one golden egg (50% chance for each). Feeding is the only way to get golden eggs, since these eggs are never dropped normally.
- Spudges drop one random truffle with equal chance for every rarity.
- Cows and Electric Cows drop their milk even if the player has no empty bottles ready for it.
- Alpacas drop one clump of wool of their color.
- Ponyas drop one random candy with equal chance for every rarity.
Picking Animal Ally blessing from the Pixie Guardian will allow the player to get even more animal products per day.

List of animal products
These items are considered animal produce in the game. Note that the list includes items produced by Bees and Silkworms; however, they are not considered animals, not covered above, require no special care, and will produce automatically when placed into Bee Hives and Silkworm Farms respectively.
